Plain City is a small town that not only boasts historic character, but is home to many unique and personable small businesses. Dating back to 1818, Plain City, known as Westminster at the time, was founded by Isaac Bigelow not far from the banks of the Darby River. Through the town's rich history a town has been built, torn to shreds by a cyclone, and rebuilt into what we see today. The story of Plain City is one of love, one of tragedy, and one of hope; and we believe that this once prosperous town can be ignited once more into the well known village that it once was.
